Andrew Harold Knight, 70 of Thomasville and Pavo passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Fitzgerald Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born April 22, 1944 in Pavo, he was the son of the late William Cody Knight and Mamie Brown Knight. He is survived by his brother, Calvin Knight and wife Betty of Jacksonville, Fl. Mr. Knight was a mechanic at Faulk Chevrolet and Campbell Chevrolet for 45 years. He was also in the National Guard for 6 years. Mr. Knight was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved NASCAR racing and American Legion. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Katherine (Kathy) Anita Knight. Mr. Knight was cared for by his cousin, Lyndall Knight and sister-in-law, Belle McGalliard while he was in Plantation Manor. They would like to thank Dr. William Cooper, Plantation Manor and all workers for all the attention he received during his prolonged stay.
