Memorial services for Betty Ann Powell Elkins, 66 of Tucker, formally of Thomasville, will be held at 2pm, Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Ken Burgess will officiate. Mrs. Elkins passed away January 3, 2017 in Tucker, Georgia. Born April 26, 1950 in Pavo, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. Powell and Margaret Morgan Powell. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church and enjoyed reading mystery books, walking and going to Cherokee Lake and reading the newspaper or a book and drinking coffee. She is survived by her children, Beau Elkins and wife Melissa of Tucker and Alicia McConnell of Columbus; grandchildren, Jasmine Marie Robinson, Ethan McConnell, Jaden Gray, Asher Elkins and Harleigh Hufstetler; sisters, Peggy Powell Johnson and husband Nick of Gray and Elaine Powell of Thomasville; brother, Charles F. Powell, Jr., and wife Debbie of Thomasville; nieces and nephews, Mandy Powell West and husband Robbie, Brandon Powell and wife Alison, Teresa Joy Johnson and Nathan Johnson; great nieces and nephews, Peyton & Brennan West, Joseph & Mason Powell, Matthew, Jonathan and Ashley Unruh and special friends, ex-husband, Larry Don Elkins and wife Treasure and like a daughter, Brandy Kay Crosby Gray and her husband Matt.
