Services for Carolyn Jean Broadwater Kirkland, 67, of Thomasville are 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home. The Rev. Shannon Kelly will officiate and interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Ms. Kirkland passed away April 18, 2011 at Archbold Hospital. Born December 16, 1943 in Jacksonville Fl, she was the daughter of the late Shelton Kato and Princess Ann Broadwater. She was a member of the Rose City Baptist Church. Survivors include daughters Beth Spires and husband Frank of Thomasville, Angelia Jenkins and husband Barry of TyTy; sons, William Durrell Kirkland, Jr. and wife Amanda of Bainbridge and Lance Kirkland of Thomasville; 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Diane Kelley and husband Robert of Jacksonville, Fl, Deborah P. Warmack and husband Sam of Tampa, Fl, Lori E. Coyne and husband Richard of Warrington, MO, and Kimberly S. Broadwater of Jacksonville, Fl; brothers William H. Broadwater, Jr. and Thomas Broadwater both of Jacksonville, Fl. She was married to William Durrell Kirkland, Sr. of Ormand Beach, Fl. The family will receive friends 12-2 pm, before the service.
