Memorial services for Cecil Louie Lawhorn, Jr., 67 of Thomasville are 2:00 pm, Monday, March 14, 2011 at Dillon Presbyterian Church, where he was a member. Dr. Jimmy Clanton will officiate. Mr. Lawhorn passed away March 10, 2011 at Archbold Hospital. Born May 11, 1943 in Thomasville, he was the son of the late Cecil Louie Lawhorn, Sr. He was raised by his aunt and uncle Loy and Nora Cason who also preceded him in death. On September 4, 1965 in Thomasville he married Dorothy English Lawhorn who survives. Other survivors include son, Stacey Lawhorn and wife Lynne of West Palm Beach, Fl; daughter, Laura Abdul-Rassoul and husband Ali of Royal Palm Beach, Fl; grandchildren, Spencer Schreier, Kinsey Lawhorn, Ashleigh Lawhorn and Ali Abdul-Rassoul, II; brothers and sisters, Larry Lawhorn of Flagler Beach, Fl, Mary Arceneaux of Baton Rouge, LA, Kenneth Lawhorn of Tampa, Fl, Angela Lawhorn of Atlanta, Anthony Lawhorn of Kingsland, Steven Lawhorn of Funston and Patricia Gilmore; sister-in-law, Connie Theobald of Spartanburg, SC and special family, Richard, Fred, Howard and George Truitt.
