Services for Celia Ruth Heaton, 58 will be May 4, 2013 at 1:00 PM at New Beginnings Christian Church, 1607 Williamson Road, Griffin, GA 30223. Ms. Heaton past away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA after her battle with cancer. She was native of Sylacauga, Al but has spent the last 23 years in Georgia where she worked in the medical field. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ken Lee and Bridget Ragsdale, grandchildren, Matthew, Kenley & Benton of Sharpsburg, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Alan and Tomorrow Gissendanner Smith, grandchildren Alexia, Madison, & Gracie of Griffin, GA; brother, Wayne Heaton of Panama City, FL, nephew Eric Wayne Heaton of Chelsea, AL; sister and brother-in-law, Steve and Sue Gordan, niece, Sherry Ingram of Sylacauga, Al. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Glen & Nell Heaton, Grandmothers Ressie Jones and Mae Heaton and one niece Wanda Gordon all of Sylacauga, Al. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
