Charlotte Giddens Childs

Service for Charlotte Giddens Childs, 87, of Thomasville will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Episcopal Church of the Annunciation in Marietta, Georgia where she was a member. Rev. Paul McCabe will officiate. Mrs. Childs passed away on December 16, 2014. Born November 08, 1927 in Troy, AL, she was the daughter of Ned Greil and Margaret Frances Smith Giddens. Mrs. Childs grew up in Austell, GA and moved to Atlanta during her teen years. She graduated from North Fulton High School in 1946. She was an excellent golfer and an avid bridge player. She also had a successful 20 year career with Northside Realty. She was married to Charles Thomas Childs, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her children Caryn Barecich of Marieta, GA; Jeff Kennon Childs and wife Kim of Winder, GA; Kim Flowers and husband Jay of Thomasville, GA; Lisa Helton and husband Roger of Orlando Beach, FL; grandchildren Jason and Matthew Childs, Davis, Chase, and Hampton Flowers and Adair Barecich.
