Services for Donald Glenn Carter, 40, of Albany are 6pm, Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. John Lowry will officiate, and interment will be in Ochlocknee City Cemetery. Mr. Carter passed away on August 31, 2011 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Ga. Born January 22, 1971 in Albany, he was the son of the late Carl Daniel Carter and Shirley Violette who survives. He was a graduate of Southwest Georgia Technical College in Welding and was employed at Shef Steel. He was also a member of the Well Spring Fellowship Church. Other survivors include brother Danny Carter and wife Donna of Ochlocknee, Sister Denaye Searcy and husband Ronnie of Ochlocknee, and sister Tina Walden and husband Lamar of Cairo; numerious nieces , nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents Edgar and Blanche Violette ; Carl and Ruth Carter.
