Jerone Philyaw

Jerone Philyaw, 70, of Thomasville died on December 12, 2009. The son of the late Rufus and Maggie Freeman Philyaw, he was born in Colquitt Co. on October 7, 1939. Mr. Philyaw was married to Pat Wilson Philyaw for 43 years. He was retired from Commercial Bank and a member of Thomasville Masonic Lodge #369. Survivors include his wife, Pat Wilson Philyaw of Thomasville and a son Stephen Philyaw of Thomasville. Also surviving are brothers, Jerry Philyaw of Moultrie, Danny Ray Philyaw of Sevierville, TN, and sisters Katie Pruitt of Denton, GA, Faye Brock of Winder, GA, and Shirley Olander of Sonoma CA. He was preceded in death by a sister Mary J. Davis and a brother Bill Philyaw. There will be a private graveside service. Family and friends may sign the on-line guest registry at www.allenfh.com .
