Joann Carol Carrano Passmore

Services for JoAnn Carol Carrano Passmore, 58 of Thomasville will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Saint Augustine's Catholic Church. Father David Koetter will officiate and interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Passmore passed away Wednesday, November 20 at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany. She was born on July 3, 1955 in Port Jefferson, Long Island, NY. She was married to George Passmore Jr., who survives. Mrs. Passmore moved to Thomasville in 1969 with her family. She graduated from Central High school in 1974, from Thomas Technical School with a practical nursing degree; was a 1992 graduate from Dalton College with an associates degree in nursing and was a registered nurse at Phoebe North in Albany. She was a member of Saint Augustine's Catholic Church. Other survivors include her children, Sunny Jo Burns and Michael Paul Burns; sisters & brothers, Teresa Carrano Little Joey, Kathy Carrano Summerlin Perry and Laura Jean Carrano Michael Franklin; grandchildren, Francesca Huffman, Courtney Rodgers, Stephanie Rodgers, Steve Rodgers and Harley Rodgers; great grandchildren, Ezekiel Vinson and Jamie Huffman; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews; aunts & uncles in New York.. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank Carrano and Barbara Jean Sickler Carrano, grandparents, Joseph H. & Irene S. Sickler.
