Justine (Jean) Evelyn Mason

Graveside services for Justine (Jean) Evelyn Mason will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, October 12, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Father Godrey Boachie Yiadom officiating. Justine passed away on October 7, 2020 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 25, 1935, in Bridgeport, Connecticut to the late John Howard and to the late Sarah McCarthy Howard. She was married to the late Frank Mason. Ms. Mason was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. She was a longtime volunteer of the Thomas County Food Bank and also served on the board of The Halcyon Home. Survivors include her daughter, Denise Stevens, of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Jay Stevens and Elizabeth Stevens both of Spartanburg, SC. She was preceded in death by son, Fredrick Howard and daughter, Lynn Howard Parkin; sisters, Florence Discepolo, Betty Stuart, Marie Paskin; brothers, John Howard, Joseph Howard and Fred Howard.
