Kristen Nicole Kimmons Woolsey

Funeral services for Kristen Nicole Kimmons Woolsey, 33, of Thomasville will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at First Baptist Church. Rev. Dan Spencer and Rev. Dr. Milton C. Gardner will officiate and internment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jamie Nail, Jimmy Nail, Michael Alford, Josh Lewis and Thaxton Shelly. Born February 26, 1978 in Rome, GA, she was the daughter of Ellen Chastain Haslam Van Alstine, who survives and the late Jerry Kimmons. Mrs. Woolsey was married to Stacey Woolsey, who survives. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Thomasville and worked for Savannah Moon. Other survivors include her brothers, David Kimmons and Joey Van Alstine, both of Thomasville; father in law and mother in law, Kenny & Janet Woolsey of Carmi, IL;and sister in law and brother in law, Angie and Jeff French of Carmi, IL. Also surviving are her aunt Susan Haslam Brown of Thomasville and her uncle Jim Haslam of Canton, GA; Uncle Jackie Kimmons and wife Mary of Cartersville, Ga, aunt, Judy Satterfield and cousins Gina Satterfield and Bill Satterfield all of Adairsville, Ga, cousins C. B. Scooter and Kim Grubbs of Thomasville, Taelor Leigh Edmiston, Pryce Means of El Paso, TX and numerous other cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Duchess Donovan. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 on Tuesday at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
