Services for Mary Dorothy Dot Luke76, of Thomasville are 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Mack Luke and Bro. Bill Kitchens will officiate and interment will be in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Cole Tonkin, Jacob Luke, Daniel Luke, Vernon Crosby, Marc Marchant and Frankie Mathews. Born September 23, 1934 in Plant City, Fl, she was the daughter of the late Odell Blankenship and Lilly Howze Blankenship. She was married to Mack Luke for 57 years, who survives. She was a homemaker and a member of New Growth Baptist Church. Survivors include sons, Richard Luke and wife Elaine of Plant City, Fl, Danny Luke and wife Machelle and daughter, Mary Lou Tonkin and husband Michael, all of Thomasville; grandchildren, Jacob Luke, Stephanie Luke, Cole & Haley Tonkin and Daniel Luke; great granddaughter, Ryleigh Tonkin; brother, Tommy Blankenship and wife Carlene of Hartford, Al; sisters, Yvone Gray and JoAnn Gilmore both of Plant City, Fl and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brother, Ervine Blankenship and sister, Sarah Sellers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Growth Baptist Church Building Fund, 3890 County Line Rd, Thomasville, Ga 31792 or Hospice of Southwest Georgia, 818 Gordon Ave, Thomasville, Ga 31792.
