Memorial services for Melony Peterson Ashley were held on Sept. 23, 2011 at Tamarac Community Center in Tamarac, FL. Mrs. Ashley died suddenly on Sept. 18, 2011 in Tamarac, FL. Born July 1, 1956 in Atlanta, GA, she was the daughter of E. Jane Watson of Thomasville and Joe Peterson of Rhine, GA. Mrs. Ashley was a 1974 graduate of Thomas County Central High School and was employed as an auditor with MWI Corporation of Deerfield Beach, FL. Survivors include her husband Charlie Ashley; stepsons, Charlie and wife Barbara, Keith and wife Adriana; six grandchildren, Brooke, Shane, Charles, Anthony, Nicole, Kevin; 2 brothers Bubba Peterson of Stockbridge, GA and Roy Peterson of Plant City, FL; uncle and aunt John and Hazel Estridge of Thomasville and nieces and nephews.
