Ray Newton Jones

Ray N. Jones was born on June 29, 1935, in Reform, Alabama to the late Troy Jones and to the late Violent Jackson Jones. Mr. Jones was a member of the Thomasville Church of Christ and was a successful real estate agent in the state of Georgia and Alabama. He loved hunting, fishing and golf.  He was married to Dale Howell Jones, who survives. Other survivors include his children, Tony Jones (Meg Glisson) of Jonesboro, Ga., Teresa Lussi (Daryl) of Monroe, Ga; grandchildren, Kayla Hodges (Steven), Jessica Jones, Garrett Lussi (Alex), Lauren Cole (Brian), Hannah Terranova (Jason), Diane Dickens (Misty), Kenny Dickens and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; children Jimmy Dickens, Robby Dickens; brothers, Guy Jones and Malloy Jones. Services will be held at Thomasville Church of Christ at 12 pm on Monday, November 27, 2023. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 11 am - 12 pm.
