Graveside services for Sallie Cox Dugger of Thomasville are at 11:00a.m. Monday October 13, 2003 at Boston Cemetery. The Rev. Leigh Ann Raynor will officiate. Pallbearers include Paul Herring, Tyler Herring, Adrian Stowers, and Allen Leonard. Mrs. Dugger was a member of Dawson Street Methodist Church. Born in Cordele on 1-10-1910 she was the daughter of Edwin Fort Cox and Janie Nipper Cox who also preceded her in death. She worked at the Thomasville Laundry and was a House Mother at Vashti School. Mrs. Dugger was also a resident of Ruskin, Fl for many years. Survivors include son Earl W. Herring; sister Lottie Hooks of Pelham, daughter-in-law Lynn Ramsey Stowers of Thomasville and daughter-in-law Gayle Herring of Beverly Hills, Fl. Other survivors include grandson Steven Eugene Herring of New Smyrna Beach, Fl, grandson Paul Brett Herring and wife Catherine of Wasilla, Alaska, and great grandson Neal Cooper. Granddaughter Lezlee Herring Leonard and husband Allen of Riverview, Fl and great grandchildren Allison Goodyear, Amanda Leonard and Daniel Leonard and great great granddaughter Madison Shayne. Grandson Tyler Earl Herring and wife Jing of Dutch Harbor, Alaska and great granddaughter Shelby Marie. Granddaughter Rhonda Laesser and husband Donald of Marion, VA and great grandsons Cody Abell and Trevor Laesser. Grandson Adrian Ramsey Stowers of Savannah, GA. Mrs. Dugger was preceded in death by her son David F. Stowers, and husbands, Earl William Herring, David Fleming Stowers, and Thomas N. Dugger. The family will receive friends at 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Friends may sign the online guest register at www.allenfh.com .
