Wesley F. Sampson

Services for Wesley F. Sampson, 66, of Thomasville will be held Friday, January 10, 2020, at 10:30 AM at First Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Holland officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Wesley passed away on January 4, 2020. He was born on September 3, 1953, in Thomasville to the late Stamat Sampson and Jean Ferguson Sampson. He was retired from Bell South Communications and enjoyed golf, riding motorcycles and Thomasville and Georgia football. Survivors include his children, Wesley Sampson, of Ochlocknee and Jennifer Renee Sampson (Damon L. Barry) of Cartersville; grandson, Cayden S. Barry and brothers, Stamat Corky Sampson (Lea) and Russell L. Sampson (Teri) all of Thomasville. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tony Sampson. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (stjude.org/give).
