Frances L. McDougald,78 of Ochlocknee passed away on January 21, 2025. She was born on October 29, 1946, in Bainbridge to the late Catherine Livingston Lane. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and trusted registered nurse who dedicated her life to caring for others.
She took great pleasure in reading and had a deep love for animals, always nurturing and caring for them. One of her favorite places was Mexico Beach, where she would often escape to enjoy the sun and sand. Known for her warmth and compassion, Frances loved her grandkids and family very much.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Mack McDougald, children Erik McDougald (Shea) of Ochlocknee and Kelly McDougald (Jennifer) of Thomasville, and grandchildren Kelly Lane, Mattingly, Fallyn, Presley, Ben, Kolton, and Brooks.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 5-7:00 pm at the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life chapel.
