Marc Nathan Decosta

Marc Nathan DeCosta, 53, of Thomasville, GA passed away on August 23, 2022, at his residence. He was born June 23, 1969, in Trenton, New Jersey to Charles and Marianne DeCosta. Marc was the Director of Nursing at Archbold Northside Center of Behavioral and Psychiatric Care. He was a registered nurse and received his LPN at Georgia Technical College and ASN at Bainbridge State College. He enjoyed spending time with his children, fiancé, family, and friends. He loved his pets and rescuing animals. Marc enjoyed keeping in touch with family and friends, fishing, traveling, going to the beach, watching the University of Miami Hurricanes and Tampa Bay Buccaneers play football. Marc also loved heavy metal music and was even a rock star in his youth. He was the lead singer of "Scarlet Creed" and played the bass guitar. Mr. DeCosta is survived by his parents Charles P DeCosta and Marianne Laskey DeCosta; fiancé Tami Tucker; children, Taylor Ann DeCosta of Ft. Myers, FL, and Carlo Lennox DeCosta of Philadelphia, PA; brother Bruce Aaron DeCosta of Tallahassee, FL, and sister Dina (Jason) DeCosta Bank of Weston, FL; nieces and nephews, Kaylee Jessica DeCosta, Samantha Helen DeCosta, Drew Spencer Bank and Halle Sophia Bank and a great nephew Mason Alexander Tasis.
