Martha Jane Watts

Martha Jane "Babe" Watts of Thomasville, GA passed away at her home on April 6. She is predeceased by her parents Bill and Gladys Watts and step-dad Joe Fields.
Babe received her BS degree at North Texas State University, Denton, TX. Her M.S. in Education at SMU, Dallas, TX.
She spent a semester in Spain as part of her course work.

Ms. Watts taught primarily middle & high school history during her 29 years in education. She also taught reading at the elementary level.
After retiring from education, she became a realtor who was recognized as a multi million dollar realtor in Dallas/Ft Worth area.
Babe moved to Thomasville in 2017 to be near relatives. She continued to travel and cruise the world.
She will truly be missed by many former clients and colleagues and especially friends and family. Babe will be best remembered for her love and generosity to community, friends and family.

A service will be held Friday April 11th at 5pm at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 216 Remington Ave. in the parish hall.
