William "Bill" Eugene Brown Sr. passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 81. He was born on January 31, 1944, to the late Homer Thomas Brown Sr. and Evelyn Bunting Brown in Madison, Florida.
Bill was a graduate of Central High School, Class of 1962. Shortly after graduation, he dedicated part of his life to serving his country as a veteran of both the United States Air Force and the United States Army. He retired as a correctional officer for the State of Georgia.
Bill is survived by his children, William E "Buck" Brown, Jr. of Jennings, Florida, Robert S "Bob" Brown of Valdosta, Georgia, and William Dale "Beau" Boynton of Ozark, Alabama; and brothers Jim Brown (Rhonda) of Nashville, Georgia, and Sam A Brown (Shannon) of Thomasville, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his fiancé, Debbie Studstill, and his siblings, Louise Brown Collins Brooks, Kathryn Mitchell, and Homer T "Buster" Brown Jr. No services will be held at this time.
