Agnes Shearer O'Neal

Services for Agnes Shearer O?Neal, 90, of Thomasville, are at 11 a.m., Friday, August 13, 2010 at Dawson Street Baptist Church, where she was a member. The Rev. Steve O?Neal and Rev. Lee Waller will officiate and interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Quitman. Mrs. O?Neal passed away Aug. 10 at Plantation Manor. Pallbearers are Chris O?Neal, Jonah O?Neal, Matt O?Neal, Justin O?Neal, Jonathan Waller and Bill Wells. Born, March 26, 1920, in Quitman, she was the daughter of the late Shelly P. and Ila Willaford Shearer. She was married to C. Glynn O?Neal, who preceded her in death. She was a retired clerk from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Survivors include sons, Michael S. O?Neal and wife, Donna of Savannah and Steven R. O?Neal of Fitzgerald; grandchildren, Chris and Aubrey O?Neal, Sara and Jonathan Waller and Jonah O?Neal all of Tallahassee, Fla., Matt and Andrea O?Neal of Atlanta; step-granddaughters, Christy Lyon and husband, Daniel of Winder and Cassie Ricks of Conyers; sister, Martha Nell Wells of Dothan, Ala.; nieces, Shelia Clanton and husband, Jack of Tallahassee, Fla., Janice Brown and husband, Thomas of Ashburn and Sandra Miller and husband, Lee of Frankston, Texas; nephews, Bill Rogers of Quitman and Bill Wells, Jr. of Dothan, Ala. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Plantation Manor Walter Sawyer Memorial Day Care Program, 220 Park Ave., Thomasville, GA. 31792.
