Services for Bernice Dunlap Ryland will be held Friday, September 4, 2020, at 10 AM at Greenwood Cemetery in Cairo with John Skeen officiating. Bernice passed away August 28, 2020 at Camellia Gardens. She was born on December 31, 1915. She was the daughter of the late Lonnie & Bertha Sadler. Bernice was married to Charles Edison Dunlap, who preceded her in death, for 50 years. She later married William Ryland, who also preceded her in death. She attended the Fellowship Church of Christ of Thomasville and loved flowers. She is survived by her grandchildren Kathi Strickland of Thomasville, GA and Terry Furuta of Atlanta, GA; great-grandson Makoto Furuta of New York, NY; sister Naomi Rehberg of Boston, GA and sister-in-law Pearl Barr of Thomasville, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, 11 brothers and sisters, her sons Jack Dunlap and Allen Dunlap, and her daughters-in-law Ruth Dunlap and Mildred Dunlap.
