Graveside services for Betty Jo Cox Dean, 83, of Barwick, GA, will be held on Friday, May 10th, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Meigs Sunset Cemetery. Born on December 16th, 1935 in Meigs, GA, she was the daughter of the late Henry Cox and the late Lou Alice Ray Cox. She was married to the late William Aubrey Dean. She is survived by her children; Jerry Handley (Sandra) of Jacksonville, FL, Teresa Handley Tomlinson (Larry) of Collins, GA, Linda Handley West of Thomasville, GA, John Henry Handley of Barwick, GA, Vivian Carlene Miller of Madison, FL; sister, Jewell Cox Graben; 9 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Carlise Cox. The family will greet friends from 4-6 on May 9th, 2019 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
