Funeral services for Bruce Calvin Hopkins of Albany will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday September 17, 2024 in the Allen & Allen Funeral Home Celebration of Life Chapel with Michael Brewer officiating. Interment will be in Big Creek Church Cemetery. Mr. Hopkins passed away on Saturday September 14, 2024 at his residence. Born on September 20, 1966 in Thomasville, he was the son of the late Winifred Sherrod Hopkins. He was a graduate of DeVry University and worked on his Master’s Degree at Keller University. He was the Data Base Administrator at Albany Technical College. Mr. Hopkins enjoyed mowing the lawn, fixing things and loved investing in Crypto Currency and the stock market. Survivors include his wife Jacqueline Hopkins of Albany; son Andrew Hopkins of Albany; brother Jamie Hopkins and wife Sabrina of Thomasville; three nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his step-brother Davis Hopkins. His family will receive friends on Tuesday prior to the service from 10:00-11:00AM.
