Services for Deming Donald Adams, 68 of Pelham are 2 PM, Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Bobby Steele will officiate. Mr. Adams died September 11, 2008 at Archbold Hospital. Born January 13, 1940 in Mitchell Co, he was the son of the late Cuthbert Eugene Adams and Mary Lee Adams. On July 19, 1969 in Thomas Co, he married Dorothy Herndon Adams, who survives. Mr. Adams was an insurance agent and a bus driver for Thomas County and Mitchell County School Systems. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Thomasville and a former member of the Lions Club. Other survivors include sons, Austin Eugene Adams of Tallahassee, Daniel Lee Adams of Pelham, granddaughter, Kelsey Adams of Thomasville, brothers, Melvin Adams of Albany, Herschel Adams of Atlanta, Raymond Adams of Camilla, Robert Adams of Tallahassee, sisters, Dorothy Halliday of Bainbridge, Sara Connell of Bainbridge, Jeannie Cumbie of Vada, sister-in-law, Bernice Adams and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, David Adams and Neil Adams.
