Memorial services for Donald Lee Parrott, 70, of Thomasville, are at 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 14, 2008 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Mr. Parrott died Tuesday, November 11, 2008, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Born June 24, 1938, in Illinois, he was the son of the late Homer Samuel and Verla Avery Parrott. On March 1, 1958, in Peoria, Ill, he married Joyce DeTrempe Parrott, who survives. He was a member of New Covenant Church and was a Building Inspector in Jefferson County, Fla. Survivors include sons & daughters-in-law, James Alan and Angela Parrott of Ochlocknee and Jeffrey Lee and Cassandra Parrott of Monticello, Fla.; grandchildren, Jeremy Todd and Lacie Britt Parrott, Jessica Leigh and Joseph Payson, Jacob Kyle Parrott, Sarah Elise Parrott, Kaylee Ann Parrott and Jackson Kendall Parrott; great-grandchildren, Lorelai Payson and Dakota Parrott; sisters, Sydney Martin and Beverly Wassenhove both of Illinois; numerous nieces and nephews.
