Donna Walker Harvard

Funeral services for Donna Walker Harvard, 72, of Thomasville will be held at 11:00AM November 4, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church in Thomasville. The Rev. Tim Filston will officiate. Mrs. Harvard passed away on November 1, 2014. Born September 22, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Margaret Parramore Walker. Mrs. Harvard graduated from Thomasville High School and attended Auburn University, where she was a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority. She was also a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church in Thomasville. Mrs. Harvard served on the board of several community organizations including Thomasville Landmarks, Thomasville Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution and Glen Arven Country Club. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. On April 7, 1960, she married her high school sweetheart Joseph C. Harvard (53 years), who survives. Other survivors include children Natalie Harvard Braswell (Robert), Jay Harvard (Susan), and Cullen Harvard (Cathy); grandchildren Brooke Braswell, Abby Braswell Sineath (John) Ben Braswell, Bailey Harvard Greer (Brent), Chase Harvard (Holly), Walker Harvard and Garrett Harvard; Great granddaughter Coco Sineath; sisters Margaret Walker Weatherly (Travis) and Amanda Walker Hall (the late Mike Hall); sisters-in-law Ruth Salter (Ronald) and Nancy Jones (Randy); brother-in-law Bryant Harvard (Kathy) and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will have a brief reception in the fellowship hall following the service. Memorials in her honor may be sent to First Presbyterian Church of Thomasville 225 E.
