Leigh Ann Raynor will officiate. Mrs. Smitha died June 22, 2004 at her residence. Born April 2, 1938 in Leonardtown, Maryland she was the daughter of the late Lawrence L. and Louise Fowler Parlett. On May 27, 1978 in Thomasville she married William A. Smitha who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a Trustee Emerita for Thomasville University Landmarks, former member of Archbold Auxillary, Thomasville Garden Club and Thomasville Landmarks. Survivors include son, Benjamin Marcellus Edelen, V, daughter, Mary Vanessa Edelen both of Tallahassee, FL, sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph Weschler and Melody Thompson Edelen, Lawrence Larry Parlett and Kay Hurst Edelen of Thomasville, stepdaughter and son-in-law, Sarah Smitha and Steve DeVary of Kansas City, MO, stepdaughter, Laura Ann Smitha of Thomasville, grandchildren, Holly Louise Edelen, Michael Lawrence Edelen, Katherine Kate Love Edelen, Ralph ?Weschler? Edelen, Liam Jon DeVary, brother, John Knight Parlett of Mechanicsville, MD, special friends, Ellen Eisele, Earnestine Williams and Mary Hadley all of Thomasville. She was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Parlett Gardner and brother, Lawrence Buddy L. Parlett. Memorials may be made to Thomas University, Eugenia P.
