Services for Frances "Tiny" Christine Bryant Hicks, 88, of Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Monday August 20, 2012 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Lee Waller will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Hicks died August 17, 2012 at Camellia Gardens. Born August 23, 1923 in Thomas County GA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Alvin and Lucy Alice Fenn Bryant. She was married for 46 years to Louie Hobson Hicks, Jr. who preceded her in death. Mrs. Hicks was a member of Dawson Street Baptist Church. Survivors include sons, G. W. Michele Griffin of Thomasville, Charlie T. Angie Griffin of Ochlocknee, daughters, Faye Griffin Lamar Miller of Thomasville, and Debbie Griffin David Mims of Tallahassee, FL, grandchildren, Amy Berry, Kelly Jamie Venegas, John McNamara, Natalie Jamie Wright, Chad Mary Ellen Miller, Alison Patrick Shuneman, John Luewin Griffin, Kim Kyle Jason, Ashlie Bret Cohen, Heather Clint Daughtry, Christi Daniel Rowan, sisters, Lela Pilkinton, Dorothy Johnston, Opal Tillman, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Sidney Griffin, great grandson, Griffin Wright, sisters, Nell DeLoach, Mary Trimarco, Margie Wall, brothers, Randolph Bryant and Thomas Bryant. Memorials may be made to Dawson Street Baptist Church, 1025 N. Dawson Street, Thomasville, Ga 31792. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
