Grady Leon Young

Memorial services for Dr. Grady Leon Young, 82, of Thomasville, Ga will be held Wednesday December 8, 2021 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Celebration of Life Chapel at 2PM with Reverend Sue Jackson officiating. Dr. Young passed away December 3, 2021 at his residence. He was the son of the late Henry and Madeline Young. He is survived by his wife Sandra Young. Dr. Young was one of the first students to attend Jerger Elementary School. He then attended Baylor Military Academy in Chattanooga where he graduated. He also graduated from UGA and then received his Veterinary degree in Germany. He owned Young’s Veterinary Clinic for the 42 years before his retirement. He was an avid fisherman with his favorite spot being the Aucilla River. His survivors include his children Debbie Sutton (William) of Thomasville, Sherri Haineault (Donald) of Dixie, and Kay Walker (Troy) of Tifton; grandchildren Grady and Rachel Sutton, Harper and Owen Haineault, Emily, Clay and Mallory Walker. A visitation will be held at 1-2 Wednesday December 8, 2021 prior to the service. Donations may be made to Thomasville/ Thomas County Humane Society.
