Services for Grover Cleveland Vick of Pavo are at 11:00AM on Friday, January 14, 2005 at Salem Baptist Church. The Rev. Joe Dunn and the Rev. Thilmon Vonier will officiate and interment will be in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Vick died January 11, 2005 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born October 31, 1920 he was the son of the late William Alexander and Clevie Cox Vick. On March 27, 1944 in Moultrie, GA he married Patsy Clark Vick who survives. Mr. Vick was a World War II Air Force veteran. He was a farmer and a member and active deacon at Salem Baptist Church and a mason. Other survivors include a daughter Martha Willis of Pavo, grandchildren, Page Willis of Pavo, Hope Morris of Valdosta, GA., great grandchild, Mary Alyssa Willis, aunt, Ola Matthews of Moultrie, GA and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Salem Baptist Church, 10709 Salem Road, Pavo, GA 31778. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9PM on Thursday.
