Ida G. Hyde

Services for Ida G. Hyde of Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Saturday, March 25, 2006 at Fredonia Baptist Church where she was a member. The Rev. Steve Wooten and the Rev. Charles Neely will officiate and interment will be in Fredonia Cemetery. Mrs. Hyde died Mar. 23 at Plantation Manor. Born February 20, 1920 in Moultrie, GA., she was the daughter of the late Thomas Augustus Hammond and Lola Bell Chitty Hammond. She was married to Earle Hyde who preceded her in death. Mrs. Hyde was a homemaker and a Hospice Volunteer, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary in Jessup and the WMU. Survivors include a daughter, Gail Whidden of Thomasville, son, Dr. Tom Hyde of Miami, FL., grandchildren, Kim Mock, David Whidden, Jr., Jennifer Hyde, great grandson, Keller Mock and a sister, Kathleen Simpson of Jacksonville, FL.
