John A. Finch, Jr.

Services for John A. Finch, Jr. of Thomasville are at 4:00p.m. Monday January 27, 2003 at East Side Baptist Church. The Rev. Merrill Coram and Rev. Tim Robson will officiate. Interment is at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Finch was born December 6, 1909 in Boston, GA. He was the son of the late John A. Austin, Sr. and Lilly Duncan and he was married to Zinnie Mae Finch who preceded him in death. Mr. Finch was a retired painter and was a member of East Side Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He is survived by his niece Melba Ulmer of Cairo and several other nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by brothers John Bunyan Finch, Frank Finch, Ivey Finch, Dan Finch, David Finch, Edward Finch, Cecil Finch, and Dillard Finch.
