Joyce Ann Stokes Baldwin Mott

Memorial services for Joyce Ann Stokes Baldwin Mott, 74, of Ochlocknee, are at 3 p.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Allen and Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Mitch Clements and Rev. Jimmy Mathews will officiate. Mrs. Mott passed away Aug. 30 at her residence. Born, March 24, 1936, in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late Lemmie and Foy Daughtery Stokes. She was married to Charles Baldwin who preceded her in death 1981. On May 22, 1990, she married John Robert "Bobby" Mott who also preceded her in death in 2000. She was a member of Summerhill Baptist church. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Martha Baldwin of Ochlocknee; grandchildren, Stephani Daniell Hurst, Jason Baldwin and wife, Kelly, Alanna Tedder, Amber Baldwin and Lydia Baldwin; great-grandchildren, Melinda Hurst, Issac Tedder and Cypress Baldwin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Cliff and Juanita Stokes of Albany, Jimmy and Phyllis Stokes of Atlanta and Larry and Helen Stokes of Thomasville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and George Hicks of Ringgold and Louise and Howard Cooper of Thomasville; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by children, Lisa Baldwin, Kathy Baldwin and Benjie Baldwin; brothers, Merle Stokes and Lloyd Stokes.
