Graveside services for Marjorie Stone Moore, 81, of Thomasville, are at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Tennessee Street The Rev. Dr. Dan Spencer will officiate and interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Moore died March 9 at Indigo Manor Nursing Home in Daytona Beach, Fla. Born March 4, 1928, in Ocilla, she was the daughter of the late Arlie and Thedious Lisenby Stone. She was married to William Bill Moore, Jr., who survives. Mrs. Moore was a long time member of First Baptist Church. Other survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Rosalind Moore of Destin, Fla.; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryll and Michael Morey of Port Orange, Fla.; grandchildren, Donna Marchand and husband, Chris , Eric Morey and Adrienne Morey; great-grandchildren, Devann Marchand and Cassidy Marchand. She was preceded in death by a sister, Beatrice Stone Walker; brother, John W. Stone; grandson, Gregory Eugene Moore. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Odessy Hospice, 149 S. Ridgewood Ave., Daytona Beach, FL. 32114 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 1925 Century Blvd., Suite 10, Atlanta, GA. 30345. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the cemetery.
