Mary Shepherd

Graveside services for Mrs. Mary Shepherd, 81, will be 2:00PM Thursday, May 30, 2002 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Rev. Dr. William P. Seel will officiate. Mrs. Shepherd died May 27 at her home. She was born Nov. 6, 1920 in Thomasville, GA., she was the daughter of William Worth and Mary Roddenbery Upchurch. She was the granddaughter of Congressman & Mrs. Seaborn Anderson Roddenbery. She was survived by her husband, William Clyde Shepherd, Jr.; son & his wife William Clyde Shepherd, III and Rebecca Shaw Shepherd; and two grandsons, William Clyde Shaw Shepherd and George Shaw Shepherd. A service will be held at Clairmont Presbyterian Church in Decatur, GA. on Wed., May 29 at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Shepherd Spinal Center, 2020 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, GA 30309.
