Michael J. Price Md

Dr. Michael Jonathan Price passed away on Sunday November 13, 2016. He was born July 13, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY, where he Attended PS 92 and graduated from Erasmus Hall High School. After graduation, Dr. Price attended New York University. While at NYU, he served as president of the student congress, and was a Regional Coordinator for the Peace Corps. Thereafter, he received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Chicago Medical Center. After an Internal Medicine internship at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, he then completed his residency in Neurology at the University of Chicago Medical Center; then, he completed a Psychiatry residency at the University of California Irvine Medical Center. Dr. Price had 4 medical papers published in the field of Neurology & Psychiatry, and was Board Certified by the American Board of Neurology & Psychiatry. Dr. Price practiced medicine in California, Florida & most recently Thomasville, Ga, where he was on staff at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Dr. Price served the patients in the Southwest Georgia region for the past 12 years, was respected & loved by his peers for his precise & accurate care. Dr. Price had a love of the game of tennis and had planned to officiate for junior tennis players at his retirement. Dr. Price is survived by his wife, K. Etta Price, by twin daughters, Margaux Price & Maggie Price, and son, Chase Price. Services will be Friday, Nov 18 @ 4p at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel.
