Michelin Louise Hurst

Michelin Louise Hurst of Meigs, GA, age 82, passed away on Thursday April 18, 2024. She was born in Reading, PA, the daughter of the late Mishal and Marjorie (nee Cleveland) Securda. She was married to Claxton Hurst and he preceded her in death. She is survived by two children Michael (Leslie) King and Stephen (Shelley) King; five step children Craig (Lee) Hurst, Victor (Lisa) Hurst, Brett (MaryAnn) Hurst, Terry (Holly) Hurst, and Karren (Travis) Green; six grandchildren Taryn, Lauren, Marissa, Ashley, Zachary, and Nate; ten step grandchildren Nate, Lorne, Tori (Zach), Ashley (Chase), Macie (Noah), Abby (Sam), Caleb, Trevor (Anna), Corey (Lydia), and Leila; eight step great grandchildren Asa, Josiah, Elsie Rose, Judah, Laurel Ann, Eden, Rosemary, and Lainey June. She also leaves behind many other family and close friends. Michelin was also preceded in death by her brother Kerrick Securda. A Memorial service will be on Sunday, July 7th, 2024, at The New Bethel Baptist church at 6623 Lower Meigs Road from 2:30-4:00PM.
