Robert Allen Holden

Robert Allen Holden died of natural causes on April 12, 2021 in Thomasville, Georgia, at the age of 81. Robert is survived by his wife of 37 years Sandra Curtin Holden of Florida, his daughter Debra Marie Connolly and her husband Jim of Florida, his daughter Debra Anne Holden of New Hampshire, his son Gary Holden and his wife Leslie of Virginia, and his daughter Lisa Nash and her husband Darran of Florida. He is also survived by many cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. Robert is preceded in death by his great grandparents Lewis Hazelton Holden (deceased 1938) and his first wife Clara Simpson (1899) and second wife Sarah E. Dewhurst (1935), his grandparents George Newton Holden (1942) and Emma Hollander Holden (1959), his parents Lewis Hollander Holden (1964) and Frances Hazel Fallon Holden (1961), his first wife Suzy Scemama Holden (1963), his son Robert Lewis Holden (2020), his son Edward James Holden (2011), and his brother George Fallon “Tiny” Holden (2013). Robert was born in Beverly, Massachusetts, and attended Lowell High School. After graduating in 1957, he joined the United States Army, where he spent four years mainly stationed in France. Robert worked 30+ years as office manager at D.J. Reardon Company Inc., an Anheuser-Busch distributorship located in North Billerica, Massachusetts. After retiring, he and his wife Sandra travelled the country in a motor home, serving as camp hosts along the way, before settling down on the Florida panhandle with their pet cats. Robert loved fishing and was an avid gardener. Robert will be buried at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Lowell, Massachusetts.
