Robert Kendrick Griffin

Services for Robert Kendrick Griffin, 66 of Ochlocknee will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Ochlocknee Baptist Church. Rev. Dennis Norman will officiate and interment will be in Big Ochlocknee Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Marc Collins, Al Collins, Ronnie Griffin, Jud Davis, Matt Marchant and Marc Marchant. Mr. Griffin passed away October 21, 2013 at Archbold Hospital. Born January 17, 1947 in Pelham, he was the son of the late Thurston Griffin and Doris Griffin who survives. He was married to Patricia Hudson Griffin who preceded him in death. Mr. Griffin was a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served in Vietnam. He was retired from USDA as a meat inspector and a member of Ochlocknee Baptist Church. He is survived by his children, Kay Griffin Cobb and husband Jeff of Thomasville and Jason Griffin and wife Rachel of Marianna, Fl; grandchildren, Chris Murphy, Kyle Murphy, Jacob Cobb, Maddie Cobb, Alexandra Griffin, Olivia Griffin and Haley Griffin; sisters and brothers, Mary Ann Davis and husband John of Ochlocknee, Rita Griffin of Ochlocknee, John Griffin and wife Debbie of Ochlocknee and Karen Smith and husband Bobby of Thomasville. The family will be gathering at the home of Mary Ann & John Davis, 911 Hwy 188, Ochlocknee, Ga. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm, Wednesday, October 23 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
