Thomas Wayne Roberts

Graveside services for Thomas Wayne Roberts of Monticello, Fl. will be held on Monday September 1, 2014 at 2:00PM in Kinsey Cemetery with Rev. Daryl Adams officiating. Mr. Roberts died Friday August 29, 2014 at his residence. Born on May 30, 1945 in Stark, Fl. he was the son of the late Preston Wayne Roberts and Beatrice Jones Roberts. He was retired from the Florida Army National Guard after 20 years of service and the Florida Department of Corrections as a Corrections Officer. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. He was married to Eileen Holland Roberts who survives. Other survivors include his sons Michael Roberts of Lake Butler, Fl, Preston Roberts of Crawfordville, Fl.; daughter Samantha Roberts of Monticello, Fl; 6 grandchildren Michael, Kay-lee, Tobie Bethany, Malaya, Brayden; sister Voncille Griffith and her family and sister-in-law Merle Roberts and her family, and many other close family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Thomas Nathan Roberts.
