Thomas Mackoy Wilson

Funeral service for Thomas Wilson will be 11am on Friday, August 6, 2021, at the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel. Visitation will be from 5-7pm Thursday also at Allen & Allen Funeral Home. The family is requesting that those who attend wear masks due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Thomas MacKoy Wilson, age 18, of Thomasville passed away on August 2, 2021. He was born in Macon on December 8, 2002, to Doug Wilson and Martha Jane Kipper. Thomas was an honor graduate of THS Scholars Academy class of 2021. He was inducted into the THS Honor Society and participated in many academic competitions. Growing up, he was very athletic having participated in soccer, baseball, and football. He was a four-year member of the THS Tennis Team and was named all region his senior year. He also played the saxophone in the THS band for three years. Thomas was very loving and had a big heart.
Thomas leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, Martha Jane (Brian) Kipper and Doug (Lesley) Wilson of Thomasville; sister Mason Wilson of Thomasville; step-siblings Noah Kipper, Seth Kipper, Elijah Kipper, Isabella Campbell, and CJ Hattaway; aunts Cheryl (Lee) Murphy, Janet (Lee) Howard, and Barbara Billings; cousins Shelby Howard, Rhette Murphy, Heath Murphy and Morgan Murphy; and a host of extended family and friends.
His final resting place will be at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Vashti Center or the Active Minds Organization.
