Graveside services for Wilburn (Wilbur) E. Hagan, 82 of Thomasville will be held at 2PM, Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pastor Mack Luke will officiate and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Hagan passed away November 18, 2015 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born January 16, 1933 in Pavo, he was the son of the late Willie L. Hagan and Annie Maude Mitchell Hagan. He was married to Vernice Geraldine Godwin Hagan who preceded him in death February 13, 2013. Mr. Hagan was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the 82nd Airborne. He was a member of New Growth Baptist Church and was an avid coon hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his daughters, Patsy Brady James, Verna Morris and husband Jerry, all of Thomasville and Derotha Presley and husband David of Moultrie; grandchildren, Scott Brady and wife Natalie, Gina Curry and husband Chris, Kevin Morris, Stacy Morris, John Presley and Thomas Presley; Great grandchildren, Leah Brady, Easton Brady, Ashlyn Morris, Tucker Allen, Kai Curry, Cannon Presley and Sawyer Presley; sister, Evelyn Fletcher of Thomasville; special friends, Richard Guill, Steve Parrish, Jack Miller and Danny Culbreth and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, David Hagan, Edward Hagan; sister, Margaret Owens and son-in-law, Ronald Pete James. A visitation will be held at the Hagan Home, 65 Hagan Ln., Thomasville, GA, 31757, Saturday, November 21, 2015, 5:30 - 8:30PM.
