William Earl Midgette

Memorial services for William Earl Midgette, 80 of Quitman will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, August 26, 2012 at New Life Assembly of God in Quitman where he was a member. Rev. Arnold Hodum will officiate. Mr. Midgette passed away August 23, 2012 at Archbold Hospital. Born April 11, 1932 in Plymouth County, NC; he was the son of the late Daniel Midgette and Mae Overton Midgette. On November 6, 1954 in Columbus, Ga he married Betty Sue Gilley Midgette of Quitman, who survives. Mr. Midgette is a retired veteran with the United States Air Force. Other survivors include his children, Susan Lorane Midgette of Polk City, Fl, Richard Kent Midgette of Quitman, Sondra Midgette Owens and husband Joey of Deland, Fl, Jeffery Midgette of Leesburg, Fl, Sandra Midgette Fritzinger and husband Rick of Ocala Forest, Fl, David T. Midgette and wife Holly of Quitman; grandchildren, Brandon Midgette, Matthew Midgette, Heather Fritzinger, William Richard Fritzinger, Stone Midgette, Brooklyn Midgette, Rita Ann Ansone, Richard Ansone; sisters & brothers, Mattie Midgette Betty of Engleheart, NC, Mary Roberson of Columbia, NC, Robert Midgette of Washington, NC, Nancy Midgette of Virginia, Meble Midgette of Nagshead, Nc and several nieces and nephews.
