Services for William Hayden McHenry, 74, of Thomasville will be Thursday, November 17, 2005 at 2:00PM at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Morris Nichols will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Mr. McHenry died November 14 at his home. Born April 16, 1931 in Coffeyville, KS, he was the son of Joseph and Ona McHenry. He was married to Elmira Jane McHenry who preceded him in death. In 1993 he retired from Sealright Manufacturing Co., in Kansas City, Kansas and moved to Thomasville later that year. He leaves a wife, Laverne Benton McHenry, a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Debra McHenry of Thomasville, three step-sons and spouses, Donald and Linda Benton, Tony and Barbara Benton and Terry Benton all of Thomasville, grandchildren, Chad and Janice McHenry of Birmingham, AL, Craig and Kendra McHenry of Silverdale, WA, T. J. Benton, J. R. Benton, Danielle Benton, Jessie Benton, Taylor Benton all of Thomasville, Haley Goolsby, Ric Goolsby, Blake Goolsby and Zac Goolsby all of Augusta, GA, Heather Sherrod of Pavo, GA and Tammy Goolsby of Augusta, GA; great grandchildren, Madison McHenry of Silverdale, WA, Gage McHenry, Elizabeth Brown and Wesley Brown of Birmingham, AL, and Nathan and Katlyn Sherrod of Pavo, GA.
