Graveside services for Agnes Faye Akridge Stephens, 77 of Thomasville will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, February 10, 2014 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Rev. Mike Nichols will officiate. Mrs. Stephens passed away February 6 at her residence. Born January 29, 1937 in Tennille, Ga, she was the daughter of the late James Alex Akridge and Nina Mae Dureen Akridge. She was married to Paul Wesley Stephens who preceded her in death. She was a member of Fredonia Baptist Church. She is survived by son, Jeffrey Paul Stephens and daughter, Allison Kaye Stephens (Allen Gordon Eason) all of Thomasville; son-in-law, Joel Hagan of Thomasville; grandchildren, Janet Lynn Hagan, Shayne Paul Stephens and Robin Alina Fields; great-grandchildren, Laura Lynn Stephens, Shayla Makay Stephens, Wesley Paul Stephens and Hunter Shayne Stephens; brother, H.L. Akridge of Swainsboro, Ga; sisters, Lula Mae Akridge of Tennille, Ga, Louise Whitehurst of Tavares, Fl, Janice Rochester of Sand Mountain, Ga and Edna Johnson of Sandersville, Ga. She was preceded in death by daughter, Jenifer Denise Stephens Hagan. The family will receive friends 2-4 pm, Sunday, February 9 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
