Services for Albert E. Barnes, Sr. of Thomasville are at 2:00PM on Monday, January 11, 2010 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. Barnes died January 9, 2010 at his residence. Born December 2, 1934 in Thomasville he was the son of Robert and Bessie Vick Barnes. He was married to Gloria Villetto Barnes who preceded him in death. Mr. Barnes was retired from Cleaver Brooks and was a veteran of the United States Navy. Survivors include sons, Albert Earl Barnes, Jr. of Thomasville, Shawn McKinney of Bradenton, FL, Brian McKinney of Jesup, GA, daughter, Debra Carpenter of Riverview, FL, a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
