Albert Roscoe Dekle

Funeral services for Albert Roscoe Dekle, 87, of Thomasville were held at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 21, 2008 at the First Baptist Church Chapel. Rev. Don McMillan officiated and internment was in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Dekle passed away on January 19, 2008 in Thomasville. Born on October 2, 1920 in Thomas County, he was the son of the late Albert Rudolph and Clifford Johnston Dekle. He was married to the late Alene Clark Dekle. Mr. Dekle was a retired farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church. He served as a Deacon at Coolidge Baptist Church for several years. He is survived by a daughter and son in law, Judy and Rodney Jackson of Thomasville; grandchildren, Kyle and Lynn Herndon of Lake Park, GA. and Hollie and Bryan Stevens of Jesup, GA; great grandchildren, Nichols and Matthew Herndon and Alyssa and Austin Stevens. He was preceded in death by a son Ted Dekle, and grandson, Brad Herndon, a sister, Sabie Dekle Allen and a brother Olen Dekle.
