Services for Alice Montine McNeil Singletary, 61, of Ochlocknee are at 2:00PM , Sunday, January 15, 2006 at Ochlocknee Baptist Church where she was a member. The Rev. Randy Blow, the Rev. Gary Holland and the Rev. Dennis Norman will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are George Engram, Willie Hill, Jamie Murphy, Paul Cooper, Wandell Hobbs and Billy Benton. Mrs. Singletary died Jan. 11 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born April 1, 1944 in Pavo, GA she was the daughter of the late A. W. McNeil and Nadine Medley McNeil who survives in Thomasville. On October 3, 1986 she married Dan Singletary, Jr. who preceded her in death. Mrs. Singletary was a Human Resource Manager for U. S. Filter. She was a board member for the Thomasville Thomas County Chamber of Commerce, a member of the American Legion in Ochlocknee and 2003 Leadership Class. She was a mother to all she knew. Other survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Page and David Whittington of Santa Ana, CA., daughter, Renee Pilkinton of Ochlocknee, daughters and sons-in-law, Dana Leigh and Randy Certain of Norman Park, GA, Pam and David Abbott of Ochlocknee, sons, Lee Singletary Ochlocknee, Brady Edward Pilkinton of Coolidge, Danny Singletary of Thomasville, daughter, Ramona Drury of Thomasville, son, Scotty Singletary, daughter, Sherri Rayburn both of Thomasville, 19 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sister and brother-in-law, Connie and LaRue Hamm of Jacksonville, FL, sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Joe Bass of Coolidge, nephew, Randy Hamm of Jacksonville, nieces, Vicky Martin of Trinity, N. C., Cindy Branesky of Jacksonville and pets, Bandit and Myre. She was preceded in death by grandson, Logan Pilkinton and nephew, Shannon Crawford.
