Services for Alice Plump Sackett, 100, of Thomasville are 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home. Father Jacek Szuster will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Sackett died March 2, 2011 at Glenn-Mor Nursing Home. Born March 23, 1910 in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Herman Pump and Carrie Thyson Plump. She was married to Ross A. Sackett, Sr., who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of the Card Club. Survivors include sons Ross A. Sackett, Jr. and wife Diana of Thomasville and Richard C. Sackett and wife Joan of Dahlonega, GA and 4 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to the Thomasville-Thomas County Humane society, 180 Big Star Dr, Thomasville, Ga 31792 or Hospice of Southwest Georgia, 818 Gordon Ave, Thomasville, Ga 31792.
